Hi, my name is Sam Green. I'm a professional drummer and tutor based in Epsom, Surrey (UK). I specialise in teaching both new students and advanced players of any age and ability. I teach out of my home studio just outside Epsom and also travel all over Surrey to give lessons.

Drumsense

I am a member of the Drumsense programme; the largest and most established network of drum tutors in the UK, totalling over one hundred teachers. Our extensive syllabus covers all areas of drumming, from the very basics, right up to advanced reading and 4-way co-ordination. As a tutor, I have found this programme to be one of the most comprehensive solutions to learning drums and I have enjoyed many improvements to my own playing since discovering Drumsense.

I am a great believer in simplicity and always try to keep in mind the words of Einstein when I teach, "Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler."
I am always refining my teaching methods and exercises to be as effective and easy to understand as possible.
